Well.. I didnt do so hot..

I know that my last post was all about trying to be a better blogger.. ya.. that obviously went over well since I havent blogged in almost a year..

And what a year it has been.. Ups and downs.. all arounds is what we've been doing.. Right now we are getting ready for Christmas and spending time with our families and friends.. and hopefully I will be able to post some pictures after all is said and done.. but I will be using my moms computer for that since just recently not only did my computer crash.. my digital camera also went kapoot on me.. :( its been rough for electronic things at our house this year.

So.. since I couldnt keep my resolution last year to blog more.. I really dont have much of a resolution this year execpt to try and be a better me.. all around! Try to give back as much as one can possibly do in these hard times, to my community and to my friends and family!

That is all for now.. I know.. I go all year without a post and this little short thing is all you get.. well.. what can I say? I kinda suck at this bloggin thing! :)

Way to start the New Year!!

Well, New Years Eve brought a little snow to the valley, which was nice..
Our dogs, Roscoe and Gibson LOVE the snow.. they love everything about it.. they love to run, jump, slide and eat the snow.. however.. later in the evening.. it rained.. no no.. it POURED..!!

Which left my back yard a mess.. and gave us a few mini lakes.. so.. we decided to heck with the valley.. we headed for higher elevation and more snow!

So we went to Garden Valley for the day yesterday to go tubing.. I loved the view on our way up.. Im also very glad my sweet dear hubby drove.. (lets be honest, we may not have made it had I drove)

We decided to go tubing for the day, up to a pay tube hill in Garden Valley up by South Fork Landing .. on our way up there it was getting pretty foggy.. But we werent discouraged.. we really wanted to go have fun!

So fun we had.. We had such fun.. the kind where you laugh so hard you cry.. and then try not to pee your pants.. yes.. many times I had to take off the shades, to wipe the tears..We had A BLAST!!!

wow.. it's been awhile..

Where has the time gone??? I cant believe it's already December.. 12 days till Christmas!!! Luckily we are just about done shopping, we have those last few "what on earth to get them" gifts.. its so hard to shop for people who have it all or buy it all!

Anyway, nothing really new to report.. got dumped with some snow last night, well I'm going to say at least an inch or two.. does that count as a dumping? It does to me! I'm not a fan of snow.. dont get me wrong I think it's pretty.. when I dont have to go out in it!!

But I'm glad to have the snow, it makes everything pretty!

Well I better get off to making dinner, then an albies run! woo hoo

Crazy Night

Wow, so last night right after work, I ran to Fred's for some pretty killer deals, and found a few unknown deals ( woo hoo love those)! Then jetted home to make dinner, nothing spectacular, chili cheese dogs with homemade fries, then I was off to Walmart (the dredded store from H E double hockey sticks) to get a few "neccesities" then off to Pauls for cheap popcorn, which they were out of! :( So as I was running around Doug cleaned out the pumpkins and got them all prepped to carve. So as I'm running in the door, throwing things where they go, I sit down to carve.. Doug had already started his and I still finished first, No it wasnt a race but I like that I was done before him! and these are the finished products:

Did a Freddy's run

And didnt do so well.. I mean I did ok really but I just dont feel as though I get the best deals when I'm there, probably because they dont double. :( But I totally spaced the free mascara.. (really, some days I swear I'm losing my mind) but did get cheese, yogurt and soup.. all at a great price that I didnt mind paying! I got a new binder also.. yea for me! Finally one that zips! Also got some random halloween candy and decor! (spluge buy..ugh) so overall I didnt do to well.. thanks to my splurges! But I havent done it in a while, and I really feel kinda guilty!!

Well, I learned a few things

So I went on my "coupon date" as my husband called it.. :) and learned quite a bit! I was glad to have the added help too because I was able to get more catalina's than I had anticipated! But failed to do a 3rd transaction to fully use all those catalinas! So unfortunately my oop wasn't the best last night but I've done worse! So I felt a little frustrated with myself, I'm not going to deny it! But all I can do is learn from this and do better next time! So when I get home from work I will take pics of my loot and tally it up!
